The LK&P? I thought they already reopened earlier this year/late last year. It would be a bummer to see those unique signals gone.NathanFromEngland wrote:IIRC, its mean't to be reopening this year as i think the locomotives are being restored, the tracks and ties being replaced, and new crossing signals being installed to prevent accidents. So they're not gonna be around for longer or they might've already been removed.ToledoRailfan wrote:Those are actually on the LK&P which is the same railroad with those odd gate-less signals that use traffic signal beacons.freebrickproductions wrote:Wonder if the crossing with Safetran Type 1s is still there?

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
I wonder if there use to be a second track here or if the crossbuck is just further away from the crossing because of the road? This is in Kingsford, Michigan.

I remember hearing about the loconotives and tracks but not the crossings. It would be a real bummer to see them gone.NathanFromEngland wrote:IIRC, its mean't to be reopening this year as i think the locomotives are being restored, the tracks and ties being replaced, and new crossing signals being installed to prevent accidents. Classic signals in Albion, Michigan. I'm surprised that these didn't make it to the site.
