I wonder if that advance warning sign was there before the crossing was abandoned?

Found some crossings in Gary, Indiana. I believe a section of the line has been resurrected for car storage? I'm not sure if these crossings have been posted in the past.
Heres the first crossing, there was a WCH/WRRS bell here back in 2013, but i guess it was stolen.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59547 ... 312!8i6656
After the crossing was abandoned and the bell went missing, the GS bell (Presumably Type 1) was retained.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59534 ... 312!8i6656
This crossing used to have 2 US&S teardrop bells!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59549 ... 312!8i6656
Sadly, both have since been removed, the WRRS cast iron 12x20 inch lights still remain though.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59548 ... 312!8i6656
This crossing also had 2 US&S Teardrop bells!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59538 ... 312!8i6656
This signal looks new, it didn't last long though...
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59499 ... 312!8i6656
Its odd to see Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59508 ... 312!8i6656
Old WRRS equipment.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59505 ... 312!8i6656
Another US&S teardrop!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59492 ... 312!8i6656
Sadly gone now. :Awww:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59498 ... 312!8i6656
No teardrops here!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59530 ... 312!8i6656
They're gone now.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59529 ... 312!8i6656
50% Safetran, 50% WRRS
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.59501 ... 312!8i6656
The end. This crossing is still in service with a teardrop bell! (And i know its been posted before in the past)

Interesting out of service track that breaks off the main segment of the Yakima Valley Trolleys line in Yakima, Washington. I'm surprised that the trolley wire is still intact!

This is so strange and interesting and I couldn't find any other evidence for this line.
Now that I think about it I'm starting to wonder if that really was a railroad line. Not sure what else it would be though.

And here is a work vehicle (high railer?) near the crossing.

Obviously not abandoned but I thought I'd post those while I'm at it.

More views of the abandoned line.

Wiscasset, ME; nothing exists here anymore.

What appears to be some track remains in the distance.

The end of the line not too far away. Looks like the industry hasn't depended on rail service in years.

Either this is a trestle, or a washout. If it is a washout, then this could've been why the line was put out of service.

The line where it spurred off.

Sometimes bridges on Google Earth can sometimes look warped.
