*originally recorded on 9-15-17*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
This crossing is in a quiet-zone.

This crossing is a pretty nice one along the NS Lehigh Line, as it's in a rather quiet area. The crossing also features a pair of ex-Conrail signals from the 1990s, though the original Safetran Hybrid bells were replaced a few years ago with the current Safetran Type 3s. The crossing is also rather non-standard for a quiet-zone, as it lacks any medians or quad-gates that new quiet-zones are required to have. Wouldn't be too surprised if the FRA says that this crossing isn't "up to code" and revokes the quiet-zone in the future. It also seems like NS busily upgraded the crossings outside of the quiet-zone, but left all of the old Conrail equipment located inside of the quiet-zone alone, other than replacing all of the older mechanical bells.
They/Them for me, please.
