I was going to try to record the AL 25 crossing in Calera, but as I was heading to it, I saw this train passing through. Fortunately, I was able to beat them to this crossing, which has a pair of nice older L&N signals. It also used to still feature a WRRS mechanical bell until recently, when CSX replaced it with the current NEG e-bell. The CR 84 #1 crossing is right behind the camera and is located on a spur to the Vulcan Materials Company quarry. That crossing is also completely unprotected outside of the pavement markings for it.
