Nope. Oddly enough, it was in constant flash mode even with the incandescent bulbs.ToledoRailfan wrote:^ I think I posted the signal Beacon a while ago as a response to a post for the crossing.
I wonder if it was switched from incandescent to LED before it was put into flash mode as all of the lights on that signal are LED.

Nunthorpe, England, passenger trains go to the right when it meets the interlocking. Not sure why the section is abandoned.

There is an abandoned spur just off of Myatt Drive on Edenwold Rd, where it used to have a crossbuck. I'll see about documenting this crossing soon.

There's a fair number of those in the UK still, though they're steadily disappearing.ZachL wrote:Semaphore!NathanFromEngland wrote:Nunthorpe, England, passenger trains go to the right when it meets the interlocking. Not sure why the section is abandoned.

Unlike here in America where the largest stand of them is a 2-train a day mainline that carries only Amtrak trains.
They/Them for me, please.

Northern New Mexico, I think it is the same line that the Delhi wigwag is on.ZachL wrote:Where?ToledoRailfan wrote:And very off the grid.freebrickproductions wrote:There's a fair number of those in the UK still, though they're steadily disappearing.ZachL wrote:Semaphore!NathanFromEngland wrote:Nunthorpe, England, passenger trains go to the right when it meets the interlocking. High Springs, Florida.
According to a website, it was last used by CSX, then most of the trackage along with signals was removed in 2015, it was still active in 2010, but needed desperate repair, CSX decided not to fight the costs of repairing the line and just simply abandoned it.
A pretty faded crossbuck, and you can see one of those 1980's CSX DOT tags.

Tracks that lead to nowhere.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82366 ... 312!8i6656
Crossbuck crossing, in which one has magically shrunk!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82359 ... 312!8i6656
1960's/70's SCL installation. Not sure why the need for cantilevers though, as the road is narrow.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82578 ... 312!8i6656
Two pairs of severely corroded track dumped after the trackage was removed.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82589 ... 312!8i6656
Looks like GSV caught the track removal machine.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82589 ... 312!8i6656
Another WRRS setup.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82072 ... 312!8i6656
All that remains now is a power meter.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.82073 ... 312!8i6656
This trackage seems to be in good condition, along with that, the crossing was also still receiving power.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.72724 ... 312!8i6656
However, it was removed. All that remains now are the stop lines and its power meter.
