Active crossing near Wellington, New Zealand, complete with Griswold gates and lights. There is also a crossbuck and SORS sign positioned further back from the crossing.

The next crossing has an odd "Stop Here For Red Signal" sign positioned a long way back from the crossing, probably to prevent drivers from blocking the intersection.

This is a weird feature, i'm guessing this is mean't to hold the bell in place if it was to be struck by a vehicle.

I wonder what this crossing signal in Buffalo, New York is for?

It use to have 8" lights that were on the side of the signal.

I came across this after seeing a photo in a group that I'm a part of of another signal on the other side of the bridge.

IIRC, it's meant to help project the bell sound onto the crossing. Certainly weird though.

Looks like it used to also have an old GRS/WRRS gate mech as well. And those are some short searchlight signals, wonder why they didn't just install the dwarf variety?
They/Them for me, please.

They might've been too hard to see due to the curve and maybe some other obstructions.

There is a similar crossbuck here in Toledo. Here is a photo that I took of it almost two weeks ago.
