I made a post involving other setups like that in the town in 'Google Street View'. I also wonder what happened to the tracks sign on the crossbuck post.

That looks to actually be the remains of a Monon Fail-safe signal!

The Monon Museum also has a few, IIRC. Though one of them features newer signals that were modified to look like the older signals that the Monon used...
