I took these photos almost a year ago of a crossing near me. Cars being backed up on the crossing isn't an uncommon site there.

Actually that record (AFAIK) is held by Centre Road, Bentleigh in VIctoria, Australia. Ironically, this crossing no longer exists either (thanks to grade separation in 2016).
