*originally recorded on 8-16-18*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, Progress Rail(?) incandescent gate lights, and a Progress Rail(?) LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, an almost-dead WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, Progress Rail(?) incandescent gate lights, and a Progress Rail(?) LED gate light.

The signals at this crossing appear to have been installed a few years prior to the signals at Kendall Drive in Florence, as they used to use incandescent lights (which were upgraded to LED recently along with most other crossings in Tennessee on this part of the TSRR). The bell on the closer signal needs some work as it only audibly clicks throughout the entire time it's on instead of ringing. The gate lights on the tip of each gate are also LED while the others are still incandescent. The gates also get rather thin on the final segment, which you typically don't see for gates of this size outside of the PanAm. For some reason, the town here has signed this crossing as being on both Bluff Road and McIntyre Road, as the two split just beyond the crossing (McIntyre Road on the left, Bluff Road on the right), with no signage indication which one is which if you hadn't looked at a map. However, the FRA says that this crossing is on McIntyre Road, so I'm going with that one, which I guess makes sense as Bluff Road sees a stop sign at the intersection just beyond the crossing, while McIntyre Road continues through without stopping. Right behind the camera is Main Street, which appears to have originally been US 43 through town. US 43 has actually been rerouted twice through town. The first reroute put it on what's now the current alignment and Shelton Drive, though it appears that when Tennessee widened the road to five lanes, the part on what's now Shelton Drive was bypassed as well.
