Might be original. Want to say BNSF used WCH mechanical bells prior to adopting e-bells.NathanFromEngland wrote: I wonder if this WCH bell replaced a GS bell.

It's on the site as well. AFAIK, that crossing has the only Griswold Type Bs in all of Alabama. Would love to get down there some day and record it.NathanFromEngland wrote:Wrong thread?dan the ca railfan wrote:dauphin st mobile ,al

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
if there's one thing i noticed about the union pacific it's that it's really hard to find a crossing on tracks they own that's clean 8-inch equiptment but this crossing is still all 8-inch lights.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
no but would't it be cheaper just to install a pair of mast lights on a pole than install a cantilever!ZachL wrote:Those are 12x24" lights...........dan the ca railfan wrote:if there's one thing i noticed about the union pacific it's that it's really hard to find a crossing on tracks they own that's clean 8-inch equiptment but this crossing is still all 8-inch lights.
