Newby Street signal: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Dotted LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
This crossing is a bit of an interesting one, despite being what appears to be a pretty typical early to mid 2000s NERR install. Like most crossings installed by the NERR around this time, the bell rings while the gates are down, with the cantilevers being made by Harmon and featuring Harmon Dotted LEDs. However, these Harmon cantilevers in particular are a bit interesting, as they feature the gate mechanisms mounted on a small mast extending out from the cantilever mast, likely designed by Harmon as an answer to the Safetran WT/F cantilever model. There was also a person in a white car that got stuck behind the lowered crossing gates, likely due to not stopping in time. Fortunately, the lane they were in had enough room between the gate arm and the tracks, due to the tracks going around a curve at this crossing, so they were able to avoid being hit.
They/Them for me, please.
