*originally recorded on 10-13-18*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x20 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.

This crossing is another rather nice one featuring a pair of older gateless signals at it with incandescent lights and a mechanical bell. The right-hand signal appears to date from the L&N (based on the base), though with the lights and bell having been replaced at some point by the NERR. The other signal was likely installed by the NERR to replace an older signal that was knocked down. Just out of frame to the right of the right-hand signal is a concrete foundation which I believe once held a relay case, likely an old US&S one from the Tennessee Central. Because of this, I suspect that the right-hand signal was also a knock-down replacement for an even older Tennessee Central signal originally!
They/Them for me, please.
