*originally recorded on 10-28-18*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, an ASC electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and WCH LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, a US&S electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and WCH LED gate lights.

This crossing has had a very similar history to 30th Street, and is the second half of the 1-way pair that parallels Business I-80. However, unlike 30th Street, both signals still retain the WCH LED gate lights from when the crossings on the SACRT system got an LED upgrade, and the right-hand signal had the ASC e-bell on it die at some point, so SACRT replaced it with a US&S electronic bell. US&S e-bells aren't too common, being mostly used on light-rail and commuter systems and PanAm Railways. SACRT did briefly use these e-bells, as there's at least one other crossing with a pair of them, but either way, it was rather nice finally getting to hear one of these in person! It's also rather cool getting to see a pair of rare-ish e-bells in use at a crossing like this. Sadly, as 29th Street only carries southbound traffic, I had to set-up facing into the sun a bit for this crossing. The 29th Street Station is located just to the east of this crossing underneath Bus. I-80. On the other side of the street from the station is a bit of street-running.
They/Them for me, please.
