Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 1st Generation LEDs, a WCH Type 2(?) electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Electro-tech LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 1st Generation LEDs, a WCH Type 1.5 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Electro-tech LED gate lights.
On the morning of October 29th, I went back out and did some more railfanning on the UP Roseville Subdivision in the Reno area. This was the first train that I caught. It was a westbound Amtrak California Zephyr, AMTK 5, with two typical P42DCs for power.
Nothing really too much to say about this crossing, as it's pretty much a typical early to mid-2000s UP install, with the gate lights and possibly the bell on the far signal having been replaced at some point. According to Google Street View, back in 2011, this crossing apparently still had incandescent gate lights, though they've obviously since been replaced with the current Electro-tech LED ones. Also, as you can see, one of the gate lights has broken off from the gate arm and leans backwards when the gates are down.
They/Them for me, please.
