Signal on the left: 1.5 pairs of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with Electro-tech LEDs, 1 WCH 12x20 inch light with Electro-tech LEDs, 1 pair of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 pair of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, and a dying Federal Signal mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 1 pair of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with Electro-tech LEDs, 1 pair of WCH 12x20 inch lights with Electro-tech LEDs, 2 pairs of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, and a Griswold mechanical bell.
This crossing is another nice one, and is one of seven gateless crossings along the Reno Industrial Lead. It features a small variety of equipment, especially LEDs, at it, interestingly enough. The right-hand signal features the only Griswold bell I'm aware of that's left in service in the Reno area, which fortunately sounds rather healthy (so hopefully it'll be here for years to come). I'm not entirely sure where the bell came from, though I suspect there might've been some Griswold signals here before the current signals were installed, and the bell was re-used onto the newer ones. The far signal features a Federal Signal mechanical bell that's in definite need of some TLC, as it sounds rather flat in addition to starting up a bit late. It also rings a bit unsteadily, speeding up and slowing down a bit at points, as well as skipping a beat or two every so often. For whatever reason, the Walpar cantilevers here weren't made long enough for the road, so the overhead lights are positioned over the right-hand lanes, rather than the inside lanes like the railroad likely had intended to do.
They/Them for me, please.
