Have to wonder how that happened...
Looks like some nice older Conrail equipment there as well.
They/Them for me, please.

Re: I have found a railrail crossing
I know about the backwards "CROSSING RAILROAD" crossbuck, the word "CROSSING" and/or the word "RAILROAD" upside down, or even both upside down and backwards.
But how in the world did someone manage to put up "RAILRAIL CROSSING" without even noticing.
Even the crossbuck has been there for 10 years (https://www.google.com/maps/@42.7483292 ... 328!8i1664), and no one even noticed it within that time frame.

Even older than 10 years, that crossbuck dates back to Conrail!TheSignalMan2000 wrote:I know about the backwards "CROSSING RAILROAD" crossbuck, the word "CROSSING" and/or the word "RAILROAD" upside down, or even both upside down and backwards.

Re: I have found a railrail crossing
Sorry for the bump, but I found one in Maine on the old (defunct) lower road.

Damn, now I want to know if there exists another road rail crossing too.

Re: I have found a railrail crossing
Well, there've been three confirmed locations* of "RailRail Crossings", so it's entirely possible.ZachL wrote:Damn, now I want to know if there exists another road rail crossing too.![]()
*One was at an unknown crossbuck crossing in rural Ohio a couple of decades ago, and is presumed to be replaced.
