*originally recorded on 4-3-19*

Signal on the left: 1.5 pairs of US&S 8 inch lights, 1 WABCO 8 inch lights, and a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of US&S 8 inch lights.

This was another crossing I had been wanting to record for a while. It features a pair of mostly-original gateless SAL signals at it still, though it appears that the SCL or SBD replaced one of the lights with a WABCO 8 inch light. The GS Type 1 was installed in late 1990s/early 2000s to replace the mechanical bell that had been there previously, though I'm not entirely sure what it was. It might've been the original US&S Teardrop bell, but it could've been a Safetran or WCH bell, or some other mechanical bell. Either way, I'm glad to record this still rather classic 8 inch install. The Safetran mechanical bell at 20th Street #1 can also be heard in the beginning prior to this crossing starting as well. These signals also a bit rusty as well, but don't require a tetanus shot after being around them like 56th Street #1 in Birmingham does, lol.
