Gates For Wrong-Way Traffic

CR 427 /Ronald Regan Blvd Longwood, FL

This crossing is strange. There is no median signals for right-way traffic. There is, however, one for wrong-way traffic. Also, the sidewalk signals have masts with crossbucks and lights, which is not the Florida norm

Surely this was installed after an accident. Either someone went the wrong way on accident, or maybe on purpose from the business parking lot near the crossing because the crossing is a median break
