Signal on the left: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 pair of WCH 8 inch lights, 3 pairs of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the far right: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the near right: 1 pair of Federal Signal 8 inch lights, 1 pair of WCH 8 inch lights, 1 pair of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, 2 pairs of Federal SIgnal 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

When A724 got to Bainbridge, the local freight based out of here was doing some switching on the east side of town, causing A724 to have to wait for them to clear up out of their way first. However, I was able to catch them heading down the Bainbridge Sub to a small yard a bit south of this crossing to drop off the cars they had with a GP40-2 pulling, which is nice.

This crossing is a rather cool one, as it features a pair of older Federal Signal-branded Walpar cantilevers from the SCL that have had a few changes over the years. According to Google Street View, back in 2007, this crossing was pretty much entirely original (outside of the rear mast lights, which could've replaced the original Safetran lights at some point). Then, sometime between 2009 and 2011, the gated mast signal for the driveway here was (most likely) knocked-down causing it to be replaced with what appears to be a re-used CSX signal from the late 90s/very early 2000s, which has a rather quiet GS Type 1 on it. Then, sometime between 2013 and 2018 (though likely closer to 2013), the far signal had its original pair of Federal Signal 8 inch lights replaced with the current LED Safetran 12x24s, while it appears that the the near signal had the one pair of Federal Signal 12x20s upgraded to LED in the same timeframe (though likely closer to 2018 than 2013). If I had to take a guess, both of these LED upgrades were due to dead bulbs. And if that was the case, then I guess we'll be seeing some more LEDs here soon, based on the two dead bulbs in the overhead lights here.
This crossing is located on the CSX Bainbridge Subdivision, just south of the diamond with the Dothan Sub. It appears that originally, CSX ran the line all the way down to Tallahassee, FL, but at some point somewhat recently (likely due to the Florida, Gulf, & Atlantic Railway taking over the part of the line in Florida), CSX stored a ton of cars just south of Bainbridge along the line, blocking any traffic from heading south of here. As such, this appears to be the only crossing on the Bainbridge Sub, in the city of Bainbridge, that one could even easily get in action. Either way, I'm glad to have gotten it though, as, IMHO, these signals look very nice. The rear lights on the right-hand signal are also very close to each other, and even have their backgrounds overlapping!
They/Them for me, please.
