Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
This signal in Holly, MI doesn't have a "Stop on Red Signal" sign:

This is technically a MDOT violation, where every signal in Michigan has to have a "Stop on Red Signal" sign.

I'm not even sure why they bothered with a gate there.Ethan the Railfanner wrote: Sun Aug 11, 2019 5:07 pm This signal in Holly, MI doesn't have a "Stop on Red Signal" sign:

Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

In 2007 these brand new gate mechanisms had WCH electronic bells. https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9500335 ... 328!8i1664
But in 2012, They have Safetran mechanical bells?

Not sure, but I don't really think so given how they're mounted to the gate arms there.NathanFromEngland wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2019 6:35 am Are these NEG gate lights on a bridge?

Looks to have been done recently, though i can't rule out that the bell was replaced! No other street view capture shows a black bell.ZachL wrote: Mon Aug 19, 2019 3:01 pmNice find!
