Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, two RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, a RECO gate light, and two RECO LED gate lights.
This was the third crossing I caught A724 at. It's an early 2000s CSX install that either had one of the GS Type 1s die pretty early, or was installed about the time General Signals started production of the GS Type 2. This is the only other crossing in Ashford with incandescent lights, so it's one of the more interesting ones in the town, IMHO, due to that and the GS Type 1. About half of the original incandescent gate lights remain here though, which is quite nice to see as well.
They/Them for me, please.
