I'm leaning on this having been sitting in storage than new. Incandescent bulbs and if you look at the visors, they are not shiny and reflective.

I know around two to three years ago i saw some street light heads that were replaced with SOX heads yet they had been discontinued being placed on columns a few years ago. I'll throw some links out later.

The light was simply a red ball before a red arrow was added, i'm sure stuff like that is common in Michigan isn't it?

Remains of old Highway ramps on the I-95 in Saco.

These used to lead to the hotel on the other side of the Highway, but when the highway was widened, the owners (the hotel was privately owned until last year iirc) didn't want to pay for the new bridge.

Just north of that is the old southbound exit 36 ramp (took traffic from I-95 South to I-195 East.) This ramp was replaced, probably due to truck rollovers.

On the I-290 in mass, we see another old ramp. This was also replaced due to truck rollovers, but the new ramp is even worse!

Red balls for left turn signals were common across the country (at least here in the SE, anyways), as the MUTCD had allowed it for many years. It was only a recent-ish MUTCD change that made it so that red arrows were the standard red indication for left turn signals (right turns can still use arrows or balls).

There's a fair amount of button-copy like that left up in the NE. I know New Jersey had tons still when I visited back in 2017.

That and keeping in mind several states do not follow the federal MUTCD as well. But in those instances, you will always see a sign indicating that it's a left turn signal.
