If I were likely to guess, I think this is an old SOU gated install:

Not sure about this one... (This has a WCH/WRRS Mechanical Bell.)

I think this is another old SOU install, but it's gateless:

Early NS install?

Is this a early CSX DOT Tag? Never asked this before.

1980's CSX installation that should be downgraded. Why? The area here is pretty empty, though back in 2007 towards the camera there were some factory units.

What on earth is a brake stick?

CSX workers maintaining a switch.

Quite an odd crossing.

One signal is from the 90s while the other is from the early 2000s, just FYI.

Also, IIRC, if the line's busy, then the signals may still be warranted.

IIRC, going left takes you close to a yard.

Yea, even if there isn't many trains there, then you've probably still got a good few switching moves through the crossing.

Yes. Quite an excess of signals, if you ask me. CSX should’ve scrapped some gateless ones and just added sidelights. Again, just my opinion.
Proud owner of a Safetran 3rd Gen M-Bell, a GS Type 2 bell, a dead GS type 1 bell, a WRRS M-bell, and a US&S H-2 searchlight signal.
Why does everyone copy my signature?

OG signal collection signature, I think. :LOL2:
