There has been a few talks about Amtrak returning service back through here, but I'm not 100% real certain if it is gonna see service again...ZachL wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 7:39 amNice catch right in front of the former Amtrak station there. It would be nice to see the Sunset Limited resume service through there in the future.brett nc railfanner wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 2:27 amActive crossing in Biloxi, Mississippi:

TBH, the sale of the P&A and Tallahassee Subs has probably thrown a wrench in any plans to bring back this part of the Sunset Limited.Ethan the Railfanner wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:23 pmThere has been a few talks about Amtrak returning service back through here, but I'm not 100% real certain if it is gonna see service again...ZachL wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 7:39 amNice catch right in front of the former Amtrak station there. Pretty sure that one's been posted in the past, though. A long time ago. Alaska is notorious for their 12x20 Lex-C lights.

Quite an unusual and unique looking crossing in Panama City, Florida.

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.1833758 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossing, before the crossing was removed and another crossing (I assume the replacement? was built on the new road), look's like the cars were split, causing some tailbacks.

Active crossing, LED's are weird, unless it's just a bad reaction with street view.

I've documented both of those crossings for the site in the summer of 2018, just need to get the photos up sometime.NathanFromEngland wrote: Fri Dec 06, 2019 6:20 pm Quite an unusual and unique looking crossing in Panama City, Florida.

All long gone, sadly. Pretty much everything on the BAYL south of the Florida state line was upgraded some years ago, especially around Panama City.NathanFromEngland wrote: Sat Dec 07, 2019 7:42 am WCH 7 inch gate lights on a crossing in Panama City, Florida.

Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.
