Do you know if this line is still in service or Not? Nice to see a hinged gate as well.
That gate has been snapped, it's not a hinged gate.

Edit: Retract my statement, i hate how it didn't jump me to the next page. .-.

That gate arm's actually snapped.

And it looks like the line might still be used.
Ironically, there wasn't a wind guard there in 2018:

Well even with one, that gate is let down by its angle under the powerlines.

Just an observation.

After making the best attempts to ensure that these haven't been recorded, there is quite a few to note in the Carolinas other than the two in Latta:
On the Andrews Subdivision, there are many older signals
SR 1803 Hamlet, NC

Main Street Dillon, SC (literally all four of these bells ring)

Calhoun Street Dillon, SC

I hate to say this, but the teardrop bells in Illiopolis and Blue mound and Pawnee, IL are all gone as of 2020. NS replaced Blue Mound with a GS Type 3 :aaargh: and in Illiopolis NS kept everything original at the crossing, but then replaced the gated signal (which had the teardrop) with a full on seimens install :Curse1: Then, in Pawnee, the railroad (forgot the name) replaced the two teardrops there with GS E-Bells. Sad to see these bells go as they were the closest active teardrops to me. The closest one now to me is now an inactive signal at the national museum of transportation. (Besides mine)
Bells go "ding". Lights go "flash". And the WCH Gate Mechanism at Kirkwood Road goes "chigRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr".

And based on this video, it sounds like it operates!

Asuza, California

However, according to a railfan one was since been replaced with a WCH E-Bell, but interestingly enough the line seems to be "Out of Service" since there's a red flag on track. It may have been stolen?
Just a railfan who likes railroad crossings as much as you.
