Here's the other crossing I got to film at today. Crossing itself is interesting as the e bell here starts to ring as the gates start to lower. I originally thought the bell here was dead as it didn't ring when the signals started up. Also, the counterweights on the southern signal appears to be custom made as I couldn't find any brand logos on it. Plus the northern signal has its front lights mounted high up for truck drivers to see as this crossing appears to be protecting some terminal plant. Nonetheless, it was nice filming this crossing in action on this Easter Sunday. Line is on the UP KC Metro Subdivision.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

I can't stand that font on the crossbuck. Unfortunately they're showing up on the Union Pacific Clinton and Jewell subs lately, and the Boone & Scenic Valley has been replacing the old CNW crossbucks with these lately as well.
Well,
