Atherton Rd, Independence, MO
Recorded 5-19-20. Another River Sub crossing I have caught in action. This crossing is another ex MoPac gateless crossing. There used to be a safetran mechanical bell on the cantilever which got replaced with the current wch e bell. Lights here are a mixture of Electro-Tech and GE Dotted Leds with 1 GE Fading Led which is on one of the rear lights of the mast signal.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

UP must have bought a bulk deal on those nasty font crossbucks. Those are showing up as replacements on all the UP lines around my area too.

This is the ONLY crossing in Independence that has this type of crossbuck font. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sedalia Sub starts using this font.
