This crossing has a Wayside horn setup that was functioning at one point. Currently, the wayside indicators are covered, and the horn system is not functional.
The wayside system here has a different sort of Wayside recording which emulated a Nathan K5LA or some sort of 5 chime horn. This is the system prior to its shutdown:

Amtrak Shuttle 470 came through with Cab car leading, one other Amfleet, and Amtrak P42DC 116 pushing. This is a standard shuttle setup on the Amtrak Hartford Line as this is connecting service off of a Boston-bound Northeast Regional to service all Amtrak stations between Springfield, MA, and New Haven, CT although some of these trains have been expanded north of Springfield.
