Gametrain productions made a video on a "Transport products corp" Mechanical bell. I think its a griswold bell with a cast iron gong. The griswold writing on the door can be very small and you need to really look to see the writing. What do you guys think?

Re: Transport products corp bell.
It appears to be a TPC bell or an unmarked one maybe people have gone in person and said there are no markings.

Only issue is that it's up on a telephone pole and I'm not good at zooming into stuff like that.
Whether or not it can be confirmed at all TPC or mostly TPC I guess depends on if there has been a pattern found between these two bells and other TPC bells.
There has been one case where I was able to find a pretty solid TPC setup that was in Lynchburg, VA (Garnet Street on the site) where that setup has been moved to Greensboro, NC where the signals await an inevitable fate on a former NS branch that is in the process of being turned into a greenway for biking.
The TPC bell on that has "Transport Products Corporated" printed on the door and nothing else. Whether or not it is a later or earlier example of a bell with the TPC branding is anyone's guess.

I guess they do exist. I would love to see the TPC on the door, do you have any pics?Trainzmandude2012 wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2020 2:16 amI have a similar instance over in Philadelphia where there are number on the rainguard and the door:flat train wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 5:17 pm Gametrain productions made a video on a "Transport products corp" Mechanical bell. Only instance that I can direct you to is finding Garnet Street in Lynchburg, VA (it's on the site)
Re: Transport products corp bell.
They don’t exist. A dude told me they are all just very early griswold bells. The one at IRM says griswold on the inside. He has one exactly like all the ones you showed and his says griswold inside. So unless you can get a perfect photo of "transport products Corp" on a bell they don’t exist.
Bells go "ding". Lights go "flash". And the WCH Gate Mechanism at Kirkwood Road goes "chigRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr".
