Recorded on 8-25-20. I apologize for the generator running in the background. Myles and I went out to film some trains today as we wanted to see if anything good was coming. Our first stop of the day was to film a light engine move that was leaving the Claycomo plant to run into Avondale Yard. We decided to film the move here as we wanted to film at a different crossing we never filmed at before. This crossing is a typical modern BNSF installation that was installed around 2016 replacing a pair of older gated signals that NS had here as this crossing used to have 12x20 inch incandescent lights. I assume the old bell sequence here had the bells only ring from startup until the gates lower. Like Arlington Ave #1, this crossing is maintained by BNSF while NS owns the line.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.
