*originally recorded on 12-30-20*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After attempting to catch the BNSF transfer job, I went on up to this crossing to wait on NS 329. And it's a good thing I did too, as 329 was already waiting on said BNSF transfer to clear the diamond, and once it had, 329 got on going, reaching this crossing not long after. Here we see 329 passing through with an NS AC44C6M leading an NS ES44DC, another NS AC44C6M, a UP AC44CWCTE, and a UP AC4460CW. Strangely enough, there was no mid-DPU on this train like normal.

This crossing is a pretty decent one, featuring a pretty standard pair of NS signals from sometime between 2011 and 2014, when these replaced a pair of old 8 inch SOU gated signals, which were still mostly original outside of a newer General Signals e-bell. A shame those were replaced, but at least NS did re-use the older diagonally striped gate arms they had here, which are always nice to see. As typical with gate lights along this line (and the NA District, it seems), one of the gate lights on the closer signal is dead.
However, with this crossing, I can say that I've recorded a video of every signalized crossing on the NS West End District!
