18th Avenue, Nashville, TN
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of US&S 8 inch lights, a General Signals Type-2 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of US&S 8 inch lights, a WRRS mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
It's rather hard to tell if the bell on the signal on the left is a Type 1 or a Type 2, mostly due to how loud the WRRS mechanical bell is. One of the lenses in the signal on the left's lights is actually not fit in properly.
They/Them for me, please.

Re: 18th Avenue, Nashville, TN
I'm pretty sure the GS bell is a Type 2, because I'd imagine it'd sound higher-pitched if it were a Type 1.

Re: 18th Avenue, Nashville, TN
*originally recorded on 2-13-21*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 1.5 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 WCH 12x24 inch light with a Leotek EV Series LED, a WRRS mechanical bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
After catching what I believe was Q532 at 19th Avenue, we went one block over here to 18th Avenue to wait for the next train. I'd thought we'd have to wait on Q125, but luckily enough, this local freight (which I later found out was Y198) wound-up coming instead. So as such, we quickly got set-up and were able to film Y198 trundling east through the crossing with a GP40-2 leading a GP38-3, both equipped with remote-control capabilities.
After this, @UPking went on back up to St. Louis and I went off to find some lunch before continuing railfanning.
As you can see, and have probably seen over on Ethan's channel, there's been a few changes here since I last recorded this crossing. In 2016, both of the WCH gate mechs here were replaced with the current Siemens ones, then, by 2018, both signals had had all of their lights upgraded to the current 12x24 inch LEDs, and the WRRS bell was turned to face the tracks. Since then, no major changes have occured here (thankfully), and the closer signal still manages to retain a full set of incandescent gate lights!
