After catching M715 at US 278, I decided to pull off and stop at this crossing to see about getting another video of it before Boaz, as I wasn't sure how late it'd be when it got up there. Funnily enough, while I'd kinda been suspecting for the past while that this crossing may have been upgraded from crossbucks, I certainly wasn't expecting to find any signals here! So yea, this is another signalized crossing I didn't quite realize was on the ATN, lol.
These signals are certainly quite nice though, and appear to have been installed around the same time the ones at Pine Street in Albertville were, not appearing to have had any major changes since. Like Pine Street in Albertville, the bells here shut off when the gates have lowered but ring again as the gates rise. Always do like it when they do that, so it's nice to see a third crossing along the ATN where this happens.
They/Them for me, please.
