Mill Avenue (AL 168), Boaz, AL
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 e-bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and unknown 4 inch incandescent gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 e-bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
I had actually been hoping these signals had Type 1s, but at least they work, I suppose.
Like most of the signals along this line, these signals had been installed by CSX before they sold the line to the ATN.

Re: Mill Avenue (AL 168), Boaz, AL
*originally recorded on 3-26-21*
Signal on the left: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 3 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
This was the fourth crossing I chased ATN M715 to, and as you can see, there's been a a couple of changes to this crossing since I last caught it in action. The first change occurred back in 2018, when both signals were given a full LED upgrade, with both signals receiving a mixture of Leotek and WCH 2nd Gen LEDs. The next change was in 2019, when both signals also had their gate lights upgraded to the current ones, though I'm not entirely sure why the closer signal had its RECO LED gate lights replaced with NEG LEDs. Other than that, the signals still remain the same from when I first recorded them back in 2016.
Also, for whatever reason, the signals here remained active a lot longer after the train had passed than I'd expected. Guessing the detection circuit didn't feel like deactivating at the time. Not sure how visible it is in the video either, but one of the WCH 2nd Gen LEDs on the mast of the cantilever has fallen into the lens as well.
