*originally recorded on 3-30-21*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and General Signals gate lights.

This was the fifth and final crossing I caught the ATN at on March 30th, and, like the rest of the crossings I'd filmed so far on this day, it too was quite nice. The signals here are a late-90s/early-2000s CSX install, and don't appear to have seen any major changes to them since they were installed, assuming the far bell is original, of course. It appears these were installed to replace a pair of crossbucks, given the fact that an old 45° crossbuck from the L&N still stands on the far side, although improperly mounted.
At some point though, the ATN did replace the closer signal's gate lights with General Signals ones, followed by upgrading the other signal's gate lights to what I believe are RECO LEDs sometime after 2018, likely the same time both signals got new gate arms on 'em. Thankfully, the General Signals gate lights on the closer signal were retained, though.
Also, as a side note, the side-lights here are technically no longer needed. Although there had been a driveway right next to this crossing, it appears that sometime within the past few years the property owner here's had the driveway fenced off, rendering it unusable, and thus, the side lights are now unnecessary. Interestingly enough as well, this is just one of only two gated crossings in Gadsden as a whole, though, at one time, there were three of 'em here.
