*originally recorded on 6-24-21*

Signal on the left: 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

This was the fourth crossing we chased L781 to on June 24th, and it's honestly a bit of a boring one. The signals here were originally a late-70s install from the SCL, though at some point, the closer signal got a mixture of Safetran, MI, and WCH 12x24 inch lights and a WABCO/US&S Model 75 gate mech on it. The signals appear to have remained largely unchanged for a good while though, until sometime between 2008 and 2012, when the closer signal had its gate mech replaced with a re-used Safetran gate mech from the 1990s. Then, sometime between 2012 and 2016, the original Safetran mechanical bell on the far signal was replaced with the current GS Type 2 e-bell. Next, sometime between 2016 and 2018, the far signal got replaced entirely with a re-used signal from elsewhere (including a re-used RACO base and another re-used 90s Safetran gate mech), and the front lights on it had WCH 2nd Gen LEDs while everything else was incandescent. Finally, sometime between 2019 and 2020, all of the remaining incandescent lights at this crossing were upgraded to LED with the closer signal having all of its non-Safetran heads replaced with Safetran ones, and the remaining Safetran mechanical bell here was replaced with the GS Type 3. Since then, no major changes appear to have occurred here.
As I said earlier, this crossing is rather boring, due to how modernized it's is, which is why I saved it for last when getting the crossings in this town. However, I supposed it is a bit unusual for this town with the fact that it's the only signalized crossing in Jeffersonville to lack any 8 inch lights. I will admit the bell combo is a bit neat to see though, and it's neat how all of the lights on both signals are off-centered.
