*originally recorded on 11-22-21*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

After seeing the SD70ACC shoving lite through 27th Street, I went over to this crossing as I'd thought they'd come down the passenger main. Unfortunately, they wound-up going down the AGS mains instead. However, eventually, NS 24E wound-up coming down the passenger main instead, however, it'd take it a while to get here. First, it stopped for a bit over by 50th Street before eventually creeping up on this crossing and stopping, causing this crossing to time-out in the process.

The crossing here is a pretty nice one. It's a 1990s NS install, but later-on in the 90s, the original Safetran mechanical bell (assuming there'd been one here) was replaced with the current GS Type 1. The crossing has pretty much remained mostly unchanged since, though, sometime within the past couple of years NS replaced both gate arms and all of the gate lights here with the current ones. The bell here also rings when the gates rise as well, which is nice to see.
