*originally recorded on 1-14-22*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2.5 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, 1.5 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights, a dead General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
After watching them work Progress Rail for a bit, FanFan61618 and I hopped on down to this crossing as I wanted to get it recorded because I hadn't done so yet. I knew there was a GS Type 1 here (as I heard it back in 2021) that I was hoping to get, but, as you can see, it has sadly since died. This is still a very nice crossing though, and I'm glad I was able to get it recorded.
The signals here were installed by CSX back in the late-90s, and I believe all of the lights here are original. This crossing was entirely original up until sometime between 2016 and 2018, when the ATN replaced both gate arms (and all of the Safetran gate lights), along with the (presumably dead) GS Type 1 on the far signal. Since then, no major changes appear to have occurred to these signals, though, as I stated above, the remaining GS Type 1 here has sadly since died.
