2nd St (MO Route 131), Odessa, MO
Final catch of the day, and another crossing in the main part of Odessa I've managed to film in action. After catching MKCVN at Woods Chapel Rd, I hopped back onto I-70 and headed east to Odessa to catch the train again. I decided to film over at 2nd St since it was another crossing in Odessa I have yet to film. Train arrived at around 1:20. The crossings the train was blowing for at the beginning were 5th and Dryden St, and Mason St which I have already filmed. This crossing is another mid 2000's KCS install. You can see a Dwarf Signal to the right by the sidewalk. The wind was a bit of a nuisance, but wasn't as bad as last weekend especially since I have a more heavier tripod and the new Canon Powershot SX740 HS to go along with it. I'm still trying to get used to the new camera since it's a completely different beast than my old Samsung HMX F-90. This road is also known as MO Route 131 since the highway runs through Odessa. You can kinda see I-70 in the distance.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.
