Recorded on 1-22-21. Another River Sub catch, this time, at a new spot I've never filmed at before. I went out to film trains with my friend again today as we wanted to catch some more trains again. We met up with Shane over at Galvin Rd as he was over there waiting to see if anything was coming on the Marceline Sub. We was there till around 3 as nothing was coming. We then noticed an something that was bound to be heading for the River Sub. We decided to go to the River Sub to catch whatever it was coming. The train we caught in Levasy was an eastbound manifest with NS power leading. 2nd time I've caught foreign power on a UP line. Crossing itself features a pair of refurbished safetran gate mechanisms with Electro-Tech gate lights, safetran 12x24 lights with GE Dotted Leds in them, and 2 side mounted NEG E bells. These signals were installed sometime in the 2010s replacing older signals that dated back to the MoPac era. Not sure what the original signals were that this crossing had, but I assume they were either older gateless signals (similar to what Ferguson Spring Rd, and Atherton Rd has), or older gated signals. It's a real shame the original signals have long since been replaced here, but what can you do. Interestingly enough, the bells here ring from startup until the gates begin to rise instead of ringing the entire time like what most crossings on the River Sub have their bells set up. Very odd, but interesting nonetheless.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

Finally was able to get a better video of this crossing in action today. No changes have occurred here since I was last here back in January of 2021.
