*originally recorded on 2-25-22*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 8 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Progress Rail(?) LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 8 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Progress Rail(?) LED gate lights.

After I038 came through, I went down to Salters to see about getting the two crossings there recorded. I wound-up waiting here for close to three hours before my second train of the day came through. Here we see that train, Amtrak 90 on its way north (and soon to stop in Kingstree) with the typical P42DC for power.

This crossing is another great one, featuring a late-70s WCH install from the SCL that's pretty much fully original, outside of the gate arms, gate lights, and signage. Despite the gate arms and gate lights being newer, they are still very nice, as this crossing still features older fiberglass diagonally-striped gate arms and a full set of Progress Rail(?) LED gate lights on both signals! Hopefully these signals get to remain around for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm glad I was able to record this crossing on this trip.
They/Them for me, please.
