*originally recorded on 8-28-22*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

While I was at Everfree Northwest, on the morning of August 28th, I decided to take my friend Wootmaster out railfanning with me on the BNSF Seattle Subdivision in Puyallup. This was the first train we caught: an eastbound BNSF local freight with an SD40-2 leading a GP39E.

This crossing is a rather nice one, featuring a pair of late-90s BNSF signals that were installed here in preparation of the Sounder services that started in the early-2000s. Since they were installed, however, these signals have thankfully remained almost entirely unchanged, even still having a nice-sounding GS Type 1 e-bell on them. Hopefully they continue to remain unchanged for many more years to come, but either way, I'm quite glad I was able to record them.
They/Them for me, please.
