After I caught the KCS local freight on the Counce Branch, I did a bit of railfanning on the NS Memphis District West End, as the cross-town KCS local wouldn't run for a few more hours, which gave me the chance to record/rerecord a few more crossings on the Memphis West in Corinth. This was the first train I caught on the NS Memphis District West End: NS A95 heading back to Memphis with an NS AC44C6M leading a UP AC45CCTE for power and a cut of intermodal on the rear. Not entirely sure why either the UP GEVO or the intermodal were on this train, guessing they got dropped-off here by one of the intermodal trains for whatever reason.

This crossing is a rather nice one, featuring a nice early-2000s NS install that's still largely original. It seems that sometime within the past couple of years, NS went through and replaced the original gate arms and gate lights on their crossings around here with newer ones, though the signals are basically otherwise unchanged from when they were installed. Certainly nice to finally get this crossing recorded though, I do think these signals look quite nice, despite how boring the equipment may be.
