Bethlehem Road, near Cedartown, GA
*originally recorded on 8-15-23*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a dead General Signals (Type 2?) electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
This was the third crossing I chased CSX L810 to. I decided to set-up here, as I figured you'd get a slightly better angle on the (presumably) foamer-added Chessie-painted nose.
Like with the last one, this crossing is a fairly original early-2000s CSX install, with really only the gate arms and gate lights being recent replacements since it was installed. The bell on the closer signal is pretty much dead however, sadly, only making a "pop" at the start and then staying quiet the rest of the activation.
