Main Street (Bus. US 70), Lebanon, TN

*originally recorded on 10-4-18*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.

This crossing has some rather old signals at it, with the bases and masts having been made by Transport Products Corp. I believe the signals date back to the Tennessee Central as well, though they got an upgrade to the lights and bell sometime in the 1980s it appears, by either the early CSX or early NERR. On the bright side though, the WCH mechanical bell here is still very loud and very healthy sounding, so hopefully it'll hang on for a long time. This road was originally US 70, but after a "bypass" was built to the north, this road was kept as a business route for US 70.
They/Them for me, please.
