*originally recorded on 9-1-23*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
After catching the empty coal train, I went over to this crossing to see about recording it next. After a bit of waiting, I was able to get this southbound intermodal with a pair of ES44C4s leading a Dash-9 for power.
This crossing, like the previous one, is another nice one, featuring another almost-fully original late-90s BNSF install. Like with the previous crossing I filmed, the only noticeable changes here were the replacement of the gate lights and the restriping of the gate arms at some point, with all of the other equipment being original to the install. Nice to see another GS Type 1 e-bell here as well.
