*originally recorded on 9-1-23*
Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
After the grain train came through, a northbound local freight snuck-up on me, so I chased it north. I was thankfully able to get ahead of it in Tupelo, due to them stopping to work around here. Eventually, I was able to get my fourth train of the day here: a northbound local freight with an SD40-2 leading a B40-8W for power!
This crossing is a pretty decent one, and appears to be an early-2000s BNSF install that's still almost entirely original. The only replacements here appear to have been the gate arms and gate lights at some point, everything else here still appears to be original.
