After waiting several hours after filming the Sperry Rail truck here, I decided to go get some lunch. On my way back from picking something up at the local Subway, I swung by South Winfield, where I saw it was lined for a southbound train to come through! After eating my lunch and waiting another while longer, this southbound phosphate(?) train came through with a BNSF ES44DC leading an NS Dash-9 and a BNSF Dash-9 (still in H2), easily making it my better catch of the day.
This crossing is a pretty nice one, featuring what I believe to be a pair of late-Frisco signals from the late-1970s. Again, I'm not *entirely* sure if the lights here are fully original, but they certainly do appear to be about as old as the masts here are. Either way though, it appears the original Safetran mechanical bell (or whatever bell was here at the time) was replaced by BNSF in the 2000s (prior to 2008, when street view first came through) with the current GS Type 2. Since then, there have been no major changes to the crossing.
They/Them for me, please.

After catching the southbound loaded coal train in Beaverton, we decided to chase it east a bit due to having that MRL ACe nose-out as a DPU. This was the second crossing we caught it at.
In 2021 or 2022, sometime after my previous video here either way, BNSF upgraded this crossing, replacing it entirely with these current gateless signals. Like with the one in Beaverton, I'm not entirely sure why this was done, but I'm glad I was able to record the older Frisco gateless signals here before either way.
