Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
On July 12th, I made a third return to the Nashville area, again trying to get more crossings on the CSX Nashville Subdivision. Thankfully, I was able to get to a crossing and get set-up before L696 came through. A little while of waiting later, and here came my first train of the day: CSX L696 with a GP40-2 leading an SD50-3 for power, and a friendly crew who gave me a horn salute as they passed.
This crossing is another nice one, featuring a nice late-90s CSX install that's still almost entirely original. Sometime between 2013 and 2015, CSX upgraded the signals here to LED, but, thankfully, no other major changes appear to have occurred here either before or after that upgrade. I'm definitely quite glad to see that the GS Type 1 is still here, which @EthantheRailfanner had been able to confirm the week prior. I'm also glad to see that the closer signal still retains a diagonally-striped gate arm, I believe this is the last fully diagonally-striped gate arm on the Nashville Sub. All in all this is a great crossing and I'm glad I got it recorded.
