7-20-24 Update

Yes I know that I forgot about the monthly photos thing again, but I now have reminders so I don't forget again :P

The first addition to note this update is the new KCMO Collection page! I've also added back buttons for navigating it easier!

Most of my time for this update was spent on page improvements for all of Iowa which include fixing typos and adding alt text for image based DOT numbers and mileposts. In other words, you can copy and paste those with no issues at all! The biggest change however are the resized 16:9 images which have changed from 160:90 to 214:120 px on all pages in Iowa!

I've also gotten some more interesting crossings in northern Missouri on the UP Trenton and CPKC Laredo subdivisions. I am currently working on adding more stuff for August!

We also have TWO new submitters from California! Thank you Bryant Railfan Productions and fresnorailfan for submitting from Santa Cruz and Fresno respectively!

Maine and Texas return with hundreds of new photos and many new crossings documented and updated! These would not be possible without RailfanRXR and SETX Sirens and Rail!

Oh yeah we also got two new crossings from Kediri Indonesia! And that's it for this update! Huge surprise will be coming in August, so stay tuned!

I was like, Eldora? What the heck?
That's awesome they saved one of the three Griswold signals from the Steamboat Rock area. (Although why they're keeping that nasty looking EXEMPT sign is beyond me.)
Wonder what happened to the other two Griswolds though. Any idea if this one is from the crossing in Steamboat Rock, or a few miles North?

This Griswold signal has been here since 2008 according to gmaps street view, so I think it’s not from any of the former crossings around Steamboat Rock, although I could be wrong.

Maybe, but it sure looks like they may have replaced that one with one from Steamboat. It's the addition of the EXEMPT sign that IARR used on their signals when they ripped the line... and the new crossbuck that makes me wonder. Can't get close enough on Streetview to see the condition of the signal either. I suppose it's possible they worked with the railroad to get the crossbuck, but if that's the case, why ask for an exempt placard?
Thinking on it a bit more too, it's also possible they could have asked for replacement parts from the scrapped signals to fix it up. It's certainly in much better shape comparing now with 2013

I'm not entirely sure but you can try to add up the totals for all the states if you want.
